Kidz In The Grove strives to serve the best interest of the child, and through him, the interests of the neighbourhood and the community at large. All facets of our rainbow nation are represented at our school and all religious views and beliefs are respected. Moral values are inculcated through religious and formal instruction with emphasis on tolerance, respect and recognition and love for a higher deity.

We follow the New Curriculum Statement with CAPS with emphasis on the following learning areas : •LLC ( Language and literacy) •MLMMS (Numeracy) •Life skills Our curriculum is pretty much mainstream, with a touch of Montessori and a touch of the Waldorf method. The Waldorf school of thought, stresses the importance of nature and fantasy play, where as those who subscribe to the Montessori method believe that children should rather be encouraged to ‘work’ by exploring their everyday environment and choosing their own activities .
